Tim Hume has been named Macquarie University’s new permanent Chief Information Officer after holding the position in an interim capacity since June.
Tim formerly spent five years as CIO at the former NSW Department of Family and Community Services, where he closed a $54 million deal with SAP to migrate the agency to a cloud-based ERP.
Has has also held previous IT leadership roles at NSW Health, Qantas, The Wine Society, and as inaugural chair of the NSW Public Sector Community of ICT Professionals.
Tim will commence as Macquarie University’s permanent CIO on Friday 1 November.
